*Children/grandchildren of volunteers ages one to eight are welcome to join us as part of our "Tag-a-long unit". Tag-a-longs attend Camp Loblolly at no charge and can be either girls or boys.
Requirements to be an Adult Volunteer at Camp Loblolly
Be a register as a Girl Scout Volunteer
Have a completed Council Background Check.

Training Required to be an Adult Volunteer for Camp Loblolly
Assign yourself the role of Day Camp Volunteer in MYGS. This must be done each year.
Complete the Day Camp Volunteer Learning Path in "MYGS - Learn" prior to the Camp Loblolly April 1st. This Path includes the following courses:
GSUSA New Leader Onboarding: the Girl Scout Leadership Experience
Safety First
Mandated Reporter (needs to be renewed every two years)
GSUSA Girl Scouts Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Course
Time Requirements for Camp Loblolly
Saturday, May 3rd - 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Meet and Greet with the CATs
Sunday, June 1st - 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 - Setup for camp and training
Monday, June 2nd - Wednesday, June 4th - 8:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 5th: 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Friday, June 6th: 8:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
One Load Out or Load In time at the Scout Lodge. You will be asked to sign up at the time of registration.
How to register as an Adult Volunteer for Camp Loblolly
Click on the link above to register as an Adult Volunteer for Camp Loblolly.
You will be required to fill out a Greater Atlanta Girl Scout Adult Health Form and sign our Behavior Agreement in our payment platform.
Once you have completed your adult registration, you will receive an email to register your campers and tags. You do not have to wait until camp registration opens.
No payment is required, to be a Adult Volunteer.
