Requirements to be CAT (Camp Aid in Training) at Camp Loblolly
Be a register as a Girl Scout
You must have completed seventh grade by the time of camp in June.
Training required for CATs
If this is your first year as a CAT at Camp Loblolly, you must attend training on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., not matter your age.
All CATs need to attend training on Saturday, April 25th AND Saturday, May 2nd from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
All CATs need to attend "Train the Volunteers" on Saturday, May 30th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Time Requirements for Camp Loblolly
All CATs must attend one Arts & Crafts prep session on either Saturday, March 7th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. OR Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Also during this time you will be speaking with the Lead CAT about your camp placement.

All CATs - Saturday, May 30th - 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Train the Adult Volunteers
All CATs - Sunday, May 31st - 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Setup camp
Monday, June 1st - Wednesday, June 3rd - 8:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 4th: 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Friday, June 5th: 8:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
CATs will earn hours for all prep sessions, training and camp time. These hours can be used for either Girl Scouts or other organizations.

You will be required to fill out a Greater Atlanta Girl Scout Minor Health Form for your CAT and sign our Behavior Agreement forms in our payment platform.
