Camp Loblolly is a volunteer led camp sponsored by Service Unit 617. Quite simply, that means we can't have camp without you. Your time and talents are what makes Camp Loblolly great! With your help, we are able to provide an amazing week of fun, friendship and experiences beyond the troop for as many as 100 girls in our area.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at Camp Loblolly. We need volunteers:
to lead, with your assigned CAT, scout level units
to support our Camp Aide team as they grow their leadership skills
to help with the indoor or outdoor themed activities of the camp
to guide the creative activities in the craft room
We will work with you to try and find a volunteer role that best suits your talents. We will train you on what you need to know to deliver a quality experience for all campers. We try to place new volunteers with more experienced ones so that they can share their knowledge and experience.
